This really hit me BIG TIME on my way to work while listening to ESPN Radio.
It was during the World Cup a few weeks back. Now I know some might not want to spend the $$ to advertise on radio but.....
The W. Cup was on ESPN 3!
I thought wow what if they just threw a 15 sec spot on their OWN programming.
The casual player might be driving and suddenly hear "The World Cup of Pool is on ESPN 3. Watch the greatest players in the world including team USA compete for most prestigious title in Pool tonight!" Might have got some more to check it out.
Well "most prestigious" might be a stretch but you get the point.
I just think radio might help out.
Especially the ESPN broadcasted show promoted on ESPN radio. I sent the same type e-mail to them.
...........Maybe by the next cup.
