Most of you know me, some of you don't! Over the past year my business, Zim's Rack Billiard Promotions, has gone thru some major changes. I've created the Gateway Amateur 9-Ball Tour, started Zim's Rack 8-Ball League, started building cues and doing more cue repair at local tournaments, became a Certified Instructor and taught students in person and thru video.
I recently gave my website, www.zimsrack.com, a facelift and have added a Bulletin Board (forum) for everyone to read/post billiard related things. I'm not going to attempt to compete with AZB Forum or the other forums out there for billiards, but I would like to see some of the AZB members posting/reading Zim's Rack Billiard Promotions Community Bulletin Board. Stop in and see what we've got to offer.
Zim's Rack has grown to be much more than just cue/case sales, we're promoting the sport of billiards the best we can with what we have available to us. Since joining the AZB "family", I've met many, many great people in the industry. From players, fans, cuemakers, cue sales, distributors, wholesalers, promotors and Instructors. I would like to thank all of you who have taken the time to read and reply to my posts, send me emails, phone calls and PM's. I would like to say a special Thanks to Bob and Eydie Romano for all the hospitality when we visited at the Windy City Expo/Open and for the emails and phone converstions.
Each month I'm going to have a "Player Spotlight" article on the cover of www.zimsrack.com. This is just a player's, cuemaker's, promotor's few minutes of fame. Anyone can be submitted to make the monthly "Player Spotlight". Just send some information and a few photos to michael@zimsrack.com and I'll look over it and add it to the list.
With all that being said, I could use a little help from some of you. I'm looking for someone who can make banners (2x4, 3x6, etc.), does silk screen and embroidery work. I know there are some of you on here!
