Proper attire for players.

Back in the late 60s and early 70s in the South, a LOT of the "hustler/gambler-types" wore black leather blazers and black or dark clothes for some reason. And they favored fancy slip-on loafers. Something like this, but most didn't look as good as this model.

My era. I didn't wear sports jacket but decent shirt collard, slacks, jeans, shoes, sneakers. No white T's. No shorts. Went to many house tournaments though where guests had to wear jacket. Players wore suits or jackets, shoes. $50-100 to get in by invite. 10-20 viewers. % to house and rest players. All straight pool tournaments and 9 ball. Macanudo's allowed.

Seen these boots online and had to share.

I see those boots even got a little dog in 'em. Yep, those are pool player boots for sure!
