found a Rizzo cue with 18 pitch threads,,,,,,,,,,,,,also found some Szamboti shafts that match the joint collar design

now the delima,,,,,,,,am i compromising the cue if i change the pin? am i compromising the shafts if i have them modified? or do i get two new shafts made for the cue and save the Szamboti shafts for extras for my Szambotis ?

btw, Rizzo worked some with Richard Black when he first started and i understand the cue is quite rare

How do you know that the extra shafts are Szamboti???...JER

This is one of the best dilemmas yet, I would guess new shafts,
Rare butt, why alter it. Unless you could get a letter of authenticity and the pin change.
Gus shafts, I would say if their straight probably worth $500. each or better yet priceless.

That's personal preference, I don't clean my shaft so it's get darker anyway. I don't have to clean it, my hands don't sweat.
