Where can I find these other then Cue Component's?
Also, is there such a thing as a laminated PH shaft?

Yeah, I was thinking as a break/jump type of use, and was just wondering if anyone has ever laminated one, mostly out of curiosity.JoeyInCali said:Any maker can make them.
I don't really see a need for one except for breakers.
They're heavy and rough.
No need to laminate ph. They're pretty stable.

Just looking for a place to get a few blanks relatively cheap.

all you need is a shaft with a great spine to it(a tight grained, birdseye shaft would be outstanding),,,a tapered on the shaft(maybe a 2mm pickup at 15"),,, hard ferrule/hard tip,,,massive metal joint(like a 2" brass),,,and you're set.

You may already know this but Jack Kompan of Mystick Cues sells a break cue with purpleheart shaft for pretty reasonable price.
