How does the cue hit? What type of material did you use for the buttcap and joint collar? Is the tiny black ring on the buttsleeve there to reduce vibration/noise

I HAVEN'T HIT IT YET. MY BEST GUESS IS IT WILL HIT LIKE A VALLEY SUPREME CONVERSION
DOUBLE BLACK LINEN ON THE JOINT & BUTT. YESSIREE, A "BUZZ RING", AT THE ADVICE OF SOME OF THE CUEMAKERS ON AZ. and i just realized my caps were on, oh well. gotta run
