I do not know for sure if this is Purpleheart. Maybe one of you can let me know if there is any other purple wood. The cue is brand new. The shaft grain is super clean. Great cue for the money. They hit real nice.
Available in 19 or 20oz. $65 delivered. If you combine this with some of my other cues you can save on s/h. Please PM

I'm going to guess a lighter rosewood... I just looked at a bunch of google images of both and it looks like you had some good lighting for those pics, but it looks like rosewood to me as far as the grain and color.

edit:
rosewood = http://www.amazon.com/New-England-P.../103-2794964-4467850?ie=UTF8&s=sporting-goods

purpleheart = http://www.amazon.com/Puzzle-Box-De..._17/103-2794964-4467850?ie=UTF8&s=home-garden

Both seem to have the same lighting quality or better than your cue, so I'd go with rosewood.

purple hue?

Rosewood. Generally purpleheart has much more figure to the grain.

Is there such a thing as purple rosewood? There is definately a purple hue. Some of the cues also exhibit some more figuring than the one pictured.

kingwood has a purple hue.

Before some Smart A** says it, purpleheart is a rosewood. Now that thats out of the way, rosewood sometimes is purple, or purpleish. Depends on the rosewoods origin.

Actually Bryan that's what I thought. But then what justifies it being called purpleheart.
Would this cue be purpleheart. If anyone is interested I would sell both cues and the case for $200.:cool:

These cues are both brand new. The 6-pointer is a radial pin. The Sneaky is 5/16X18. Both have real nice shafts. That's $200 delivered USA.
$160 Without the case.:cool:

Bump for pics

I was asked about the case. Here are some pics. I have the double in 3 colors. The 1X1 brown is out of stock. Shipping an empty case is not cost effective and against my morals. :D :D Please PM your email address for pics of other similar packages I can put together for you.
