What kind of 1p tourney are you running down there?!?!? I've never heard of speed 1 pocket! :D

Larry is a very nice guy but I have to agree with you Eydie. However, Larry could be out for revenge...Shawn knocked Larry out of the tourney last Sat in Athens.... ;)

Don't worry...I just consulted my crazy 8-ball and asked it what the outcome was going to be and it said Shawn. (Although I did drop that SOB a couple of days ago) :eek: :mad:

LOL, I would certainly hope you're not sponsoring him in the 1 pocket event. :p Well, since I am pulling for Shawn, I'll rephrase that... I do hope that he's using your product for this set... It could do wonders for setting up a sell out. :D :D :cool:

I have never seen anyone using a jump/break cue in 1 pocket.

If Larry does, he would be the first! :D :D :D

I think Larry is playing with a Reeves custom cue.

Yes, he's playing w/a Reeves custom cue that I believe I heard Larry say he either designed or made. Larry has been with Reeves for about two yrs now I think. Jimmy & Tommy Reeves are two of the nicest people you'll ever meet.

LOL, I was making a joke about the jump cue in 1 pocket.... if anyone were to use it, it would be selling out for sure & guarantee the other guy (Shawn) a run out... C'mon Larry, use that jump cue!! :D :D :D

Nevel wins 8-3 in 10 minutes

Putnam wins 8-0 in 17 minutes

Putnam wins 8-4 in 20 minutes

I am actually posting this after the match. We alreadty know who the winner is. Mike Howerton will have the information up on the main page this evening.

FYI - the score of game 9 was 8-0 and it only took 1 minute to play.

Dont'ya just love the suspense ?

The 8-Ball event is about to start we have 58? players in the event.

I think I know the answer....maybe. Could you please PM me the info? I've got to go to bed... I've only stayed up this long because I thought you were going to update us. I haven't had a chance to catch up on sleep from Athens.
 
My money is still on Shawn.. I spoke with him at lenght when he was here in the Chicago area for the BIG Viking play off this past March, I think it was.. I have real faith in him and even bet hands down that he would win the SBE event at Valley Forge too. As I said, Larry is a great guy and good friend but I gots a feelin it's Shawn!
