Well today I decided to out the Q-skills test.
I went grabbed a 9ft GC4. And played.
After the first couple of racks, I was averaging about 7 or 8 points per rack. Which got me to thinking that If I keep this up, I'm shooting at basically a the semi-pro to pro level lol.
Now I did two 10 rack sets tonight and came out with scores of 78points and 76points for both sets.
Obviously if I kept this up for all 10 sessions, I'd be shooting some where between semi-pro and Pro lol. Which makes no sence cuz, I am no where near a semi-pro level.
The one thing I didnt like about the test is, if you combo the 9ball early in the rack, you still have to run out the rack. Which is sometimes a penalty cuz the original OB ball could end up down table without a shot, even though you won the game.
Also, if you miss a shot your not really penalized cuz you lose a point, but gain the point right back after potting the missed ball. Which unlike playing the ghost, if you miss, you loose the game.
I personally think playing the Ghost is more of a test in skill than the Q-skills.
