Bit pricy though. Not a big market for chalk holders over $50 that people can lose or get stolen easily. I don't know how much of my Magic or Bue Diamond chalk has gone missing, especially with my 13-14 yr old son using it, I'd hate to think what I'd think if I lost a $50-100 chalk holder.

I think they might have slightly overestimated the market for $100+ magnetic chalk holders.

They do look nice, I will admit, but I could never justify that cost.

I see your point folks, but trust me they are nice little pieces of engineering that will last a lifetime.

1. Quality Engineering or not, it's a chalk holder.
2. They should last a lifetime with the materials used.

It's a luxury item. $100+ for a chalk holder is steep, even for a luxury.

It's always unfortunate to see a billiards company go, but I don't think many will be missing out by not getting a Qpod.

When I first saw the QPOD at the Super Billiards Expo I immediately wanted one. When I asked for the price I was shocked!!! I know of several people that liked the product, but couldn't justify the cost. I think QPOD priced themselves out of business.
