Q's about GC2, lights, Tony Morris, or mechanic for Lexington KY area

Hello. I guess this is the best forum for this thread. I'm getting a GC2 9' delivered next Wednesday, August 27, or so, and fully set up except for recovering with new cloth. Recovering needs to be done by a separate qualified mechanic. The seller doesn't want to risk trying to recover himself.

It's ending up about 40 miles east of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky. The cushions are already clothed with a 700 series Simonis, I believe, as was the bed. That cloth will come with the table too. The cushion cloth appears to be in pretty good shape from the pictures, as does the bed cloth. But, I'd like the bed covered with new Simonis 860. So, I have a couple questions.

First, is it okay to leave that 700 series Simonis on the cushions and recover just the bed with new 860, or should I do the cushions in 860 too?

Second, is Tony Morris a mechanic? Seems like I saw somewhere on here that he is. There was a post very recently that even listed his phone number, which was a 502 area code, the Louisville area. Does anyone have that number? I cannot re-find that post. I thought it was in the Q-Sharks poolroom auction post, but I just checked and that's not it.

Third, is about lighting. I may get a Diamond 4 x 8 light, or the comparable Brunswick one if I can get a good used price on either. My question is about hanging them. Where exactly should I put the two I-bolts with the two main chains hanging from the ceiling to hold either light fixture? I only have one major wooden beam dead center of the room to tap into, so there won't be four chains from the ceiling, only two, and then I'll Y off of each to the four connectors on the light fixtures.

Thanks for you time and help.

Greg
