I am guessing that Lindenwood College is doing pretty decent in their Billiards program! Those kids must be gambling day and night to produce all of those young champions, glad to see that the school allowed this so they can be the #1 college for the billiards program in America.

People here in America are starting to see the value in Qualified Pool Instructors no matter what their tittle may be IE. PBIA, ACS ETC.

We (America) are putting out more high level juniors then ever before. Hear is a list of just a few that I have met, played or had the fortunate opportunity to work with.

Nick Evan
Ricky Evans
April Larson
Haley Fullerton
Ashley Fullerton
Briana Miller
Tanner Nickels
Manny Perez

Correction: Tanner Nickels, has left the building. He is now enrolled at Missouri State University, where they are attempting to organize a billiard team. :)

Thanks to Alma Mottey, Fargo and the International Billiards Society for compiling the graph below. Here is an all inclusive list of the industry's Master Instructor's Fargo Ratings. After viewing the thread title I thought I would share this information with anyone interested. I find it interesting that many of the instructors on the list haven't played in enough tournaments to have ratings or they have starter scores of 525. By the way 675 is considered to be around pro speed. The higher the score the greater the player's ability. I don't claim to be an expert on this, but it is good food for thought.

Is there a big range in skill level from one 525 to another. I find it hard to believe that all those coaches play the same speed. That would be a big coincidence.

This plot is largely nonsense and not endorsed by. Most of these people do not have a Fargo Rating

Players without a Fargo rating are generally listed with a 525 "Starter Rating".
The coaches at 525 you are looking at most likely aren't actually rated within the Fargo system.
Considering the drive for Fargo entry/ratings is still relativity new; many coaches may not be actually be competing anymore.
Another thought is that there is a lot to learn from a potential coach that may not have the vision or dexterity they once had.
