i picked up a pechauer dirt cheap at a pawn shop. got 2 shafts. 1 shaft has a long transparent ferrule. you can see the end of the shaft inside. the tip and ferrule all seem to be one piece. is this what they call a tipless ferrule ? i have never seen one before. i couldnt believe how this stick breaks. broke about a dozen full racks last night, every break half the balls would pass the side pockets and 2 would. have never done that before. is this a tipless ferrule? any info would be appreciated.

sounds like a one piece g-10 tip ferrule
