I just received a cue that I bought on eBay about a week ago. It is from the Philippines. Here's the link to the auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...MEWN:IT&viewitem=&item=110090225584&rd=1&rd=1
As you can see, it appears to be signed by "Royce Gracie." The description is inaccurate in several places: the cue weighs 18.0 oz., not 19.5 oz., the pin is described as "3/8 by 16," but it measures .306 inches (not the .375 inches that a 3/8 pin would measure) and looks to have abut 14 threads per inch instead of 16.
If anyone out there has a Gracie cue, does the signature look correct? Also, while the butt of the cue looks OK (the inlays look real, for example), the shaft wood looks cheap with a fair number of dark marks and lines. I'm thinking that Gracie cues would not have such a cheap looking shaft. Of course, I have only about $100 invested in the cue, so I won't be suicidal if it turns out to be a fake. Thanks in advance for any help with this one!
