Question about balance point

Hi to all, this morning came up this question in my mind and I'm sure that someone has the answer to it..

Well my cue is a little less than 58"(57.47 i guess) 19 oz balanced at 19.2 inches from the bumper...

Sometimes during my play i get my grip hand a little forward in a place nearer the balance point then what is my normal place where I grip the cue. Well when i get there I feel the cue moving differently, more balanced and goes back and forth more smoothly.

To get to the question:

I'm 183cm tall, do you think that the balance point is too forward for my stroke, is too forward for my height or do you think that maybe a longer cue qould fit better..?

It's what's right for you

I think you answered your own question when you said it felt better when you gripped the cue farther forward.

19.2" is forward balanced. As a simple test, try adding some weight to the butt by unscrewing the bumper and putting metal washers under the bumper and see how it feels. If you like it, take it to someone and have a heavier weight bolt installed.

I agree with Bill. Try using a heavier cue. OR longer cue that are heavier.

You play, no bending down all the way? You way too tall to play gripping near the balance point.
