question about Josey cue, please help

i contacted Josey recently and wanted to buy one of his sneaky cue. i asked somebody and red some threads here, all feedback are stiff, solid and hard.
can anybody tell me about the stiff hit, how about spins from this cue, top, back and side spins, how does it hit.

i play with a josey. his cues do have a stiffer hit, but once you get used to it, putting english on the ball is effortless. as far as spin, that really depends on your tip of choice as well. the stiffness comes from the taper in the shaft. you can have the shaft tapered differently to reduce some of the stiffness. overall, his cues hit great and his craftmanship and professionalism to deal with are great as well. hope this helps.

I would agree with this. I even had Keith make a matching joint with a Predator shaft that plays great. Highly recommend a Josey cue.
 
I have owned and played with many, many cues in my lifetime, Yo can not go wrong with one of Keith's cues. If you own any more cues, it will quickly become one of your favorites.
 
If you are looking for an extra hard hit...then choose his "timeless timber" shaft option. This wood is pulled from the bottom of the Great Lakes and is several hundred years old. The ultimate for someone wanting ultra stiff & hard hitting shafts. The wood is a beautiful honey-brown color too. Keith makes as high a quality cue as you can buy...period!
 
Love my Josey! When I first got it, I wondered about the taper...not a "pro" taper...but today I would urge anyone buying a Josey to play with it as is for a few months. You might discover as I did...it's a great cue just as it is.

Darn..my wife would shoot me if I bought any more pool stuff right now...but I'm thinking I might want a "timeless timber" shaft. Maybe what she doesn't know won't hurt her? ;)
