Question about mezz cues

I have been looking into getting a mezz cue and was wondering if there is any major difference in their cue series besides joint type and inlays. I'm not concerned with what shaft it comes with as I plan to get an ex pro upgrade with it.

I'm on my 2nd Mezz EC-7 cue. My first one is an EC7-R and my new one is an EC7-WMW. Both cues weigh almost the same (19.5 - 19.7 oz) but the EC7-R is balanced at 19" from the buttcap and the EC7-WMW is -balanced at 18" from the buttcap. The EC7-WMW has a 2 oz. weight bolt to bring the weight up to what I ordered so obviously that is affecting the balance while the EC7-R has a .5 oz weight bolt. If you're looking for a more forward balanced cue or heavier cue in general I would advise not getting one with an all maple forearm unless you like the rearward balance. I can't speak across the board for Mezz's other lines but this was my experience.
