question about mezz sonic tips

Im considering purchasing a mezz break cue and I was wondering how easy it is to control the cueball with a mezz sonic tip compared to a samsara?
 
I have a sonic tip and it is really hard just like phenolic but I don't have many problems putting a little bottom spin on the cue ball.
 
It is a lot like phenolic if you have ever used one before. Very quick and requires good contact for maximum control. I have gotten used to it now, but yes very different from the samsara hard leather types.
