OK first question. Can the current rails on my new table be lengthened or just reduced with shims? I would like to have just under 2 ball spacing.
Sorry for my choice of words I don't know what to call the reducers that staple to the rail.

Second question. How well does the Brunswick Centennial felt hold up vs 860?

860 Simonis all the way! What kind of table do you have? You can subrail it and add new facings with rubber.

I am getting a Brunswick Brookstone. (new) I put a deposit on it 2 weeks ago or so.

I upgraged the felt but ended up with the Brunswick Cenn over the 860 because it was the same price and they say it plays just as fast plus if by some chance a drink got spilled on it it will just bead up and wipe it off. No stain no mess. Which could be a good thing cause I would hate to be in jail for kickin my son or wifes ass.. LOL

You might take a few minutes and review the information towards the bottom of this page
about spill and stain resistance - http://www.simoniscloth.com/quality.htm#Stain
