Question about Runout Drill System

I've been practicing the Runout Drill System for a few weeks now. I've gotten past Level 6 several times, but now I'm wondering if I've been doing Level 6 wrong.

According to this document https://billiards.colostate.edu/bd_articles/2020/oct20.pdf, it says that you get one extra ball in hand for Level 6 and Level 8.

However, Dr. Dave's RDS youtube video does not say anything about one extra BIH for Level 6 and Level 8.

Should you get an extra BIH for Levels 6 and 8, in addition to the BIH after the break?

I do find Level 6 with an extra BIH to be easier than Level 5, so perhaps you're not supposed to get an extra BIH for Level 6 and 8.

There was discussion about these levels during the original RDS testing. I believe the extra BiH for levels 6 & 8 was ultimately the final rule set.

Simply, if a player doesn’t need the extra BiH for these levels they’ve demonstrated enough proficiency to easily progress to the higher levels.

Levels 6,7,8 are BIH after the break. They all have 1 extra BIH but it really doesn't say what that is for is the after break your only BIH

BIH after the break is free on all levels. Any other BIH mentioned is in addition.

 Oh Geez, I think I'm starting at level 13
That would be this, starting with ball in hand after the break but no other BIHs:

13. 9 balls (4 solids, 4 stripes, 8), 8-ball rules, remaining balls in order

So... 4-ball eight ball ghost followed by four balls in rotation. To do this more than half the time is pretty darn good.

Just study the layout. Figure the rotation layout first. Then work backwards.

Sounds like a good plan.

That drill is similar to Allen Hopkins' Q-Skill drill, where the first 10 balls are straight pool and the last 5 are rotation. Mike Page's Fargo game is harder mentally -- any number like 14.1 and then rotation. The mental problem is deciding when to switch to rotation which gets you two points per ball.
