Can anybody give me the exact dimensions of the pockets on a russian pyramid table? All I ever keep seeing is a range. I was wondering for those who may be more knowledgeable in the area, what are typically the sizes of the pockets?

Thanks for the help

Officially, according to Russian Federation of billiard sport, for tournaments, the corner pocket must have 72-73 mm, the middle pocket 82-83 mm, the depth of corner pocket should be 5-6 mm, the middle pocket 0 mm.

In billiard halls, tables have different pocket sizes, there are tables with 70-71 mm, and also tables with 74-75 mm. Almost each hall have a tight table with shimmed pockets. It's hard to tell the typical size, because each hall has different brand tables, different target players and different vision of their business.

OMG. Now there's a crazy thought... tightened russian pyramid tables.
The game was too easy with pockets 5mm larger than the ball itself??

BTW to the original poster, the specs can also be found on the pyramid wiki page.

thanks guys for the quick responses. I did see the information on wiki but I was just hoping that there was a more "official" ruling on the pocket size but I pretty much got my answer. Thanks for the help!!!
