The current US Open is the first time I've actually been able to follow a tournament in real-time.
For some reason, I thought every player played more matches each day than seems to be the case. I've been under the impression that the players played 3-4 matches per day...pretty much non-stop play except to wait for your next opponent to finish his current match.
But at the US Open it looks like you only play 1-2 each day. Is that the standard, or is the US Open more slow-paced?
(I know that an early loser will play more matches to get through the Loser's Side bracket, but even then they only seem to be playing at a rate of 1-2 a day)
