was the $20 general asmission ticket good seats????do they allow you to play on the tables at all????will the players take photos and stuff with you and do they charge you????last but not how was your over all experience with the whole event????the reason im asking is cause im thinking of going to the chicago tourny....
thank you

hey i'm on the ipt and i would be happy to have a ticket waiting for you in chicago.I know most of the players are happy to take pictures and sign autographs, as far as playin on the tables,I dont think that would be allowed but as the tourney progresses they have practice tables in an open area usually by the vendors.Yes the general admin tickets are very good

thanks for the offer james...but i have my wife and another couple coming with me...we cant make it until saturday for the final 6 cause work sucks...and we will stay for the final match on sunday....maybe i will get a chance to meet you there though ..
thank you

The cheap seats are better than most of the VIP seats for me because I like to sit in the highest row for a better angle on the table. They may ask you to sit in the VIP seats by the TV table during the early rounds if the audience is sparse.

In Reno, there were five or six practice tables in the milling-around-and-sales area, and they would loan you a set of balls for free with a driver's license deposit.

All the players seemed delighted by any attention from the fans.

The main down-side is that it's hard to fit in a meal between 10AM and 10PM as the play is nearly continuous, and the players you want to watch will be playing all that time. Eat a big breakfast.

Seating is good-Better than most tourneys. There are a lot of free tickets around too. Excellent production.

Id estimate the Reno crowd as averaging 200 at any one time during the week. I never knew Reno had so many Filipinos. Sat and Sat and Sunday Id guess the crowd at 400-500 and 25% Pinoys. From my experience, this is a good crowd for a pool tournament. Smart of the IPT to lower the Tix prices to get the fans too IMHO.

The finals were pretty much standing room only. I counted about 300 seats. I wonder if Chicago will have a larger turnout.
