When you recover valley bar table rails, do you make the end of the rails on all sides smooth or do you put a fold in the cloth for the side pockets like some do? Thanks in advance.

When you recover valley bar table rails, do you make the end of the rails on all sides smooth or do you put a fold in the cloth for the side pockets like some do? Thanks in advance.

I don't support a no fold side pocket by the fact that it snookers the side pockets, and creates a weak point on the side pocket points of the facings which in time, will cause the facings to wear through the cloth right at the points.
