question for z2 shaft users

for those who hit the whity with a z2 shaft:love2:,i want to install a triangle tip on it,any feedback from a player who use a z2 shaft with a triangle on it will be appreciated:yeah:
for the last 4 years i play with an everest (a couple already install / change)but everytime a layer is off i hate it

While I don't have a Z2 shaft I did play 2 different cues with a Everest tip and am on my 3rd shaft.
It starts out great, it stays great for while, but then it's just hard and you cannot feel your hit and it's just uncomfortable. Is that what's happening to you?

The Sniper or Onyx has been an eye opener for me, but they do require a bit more maintenace (shaping) than the Everest, because they flatten in the middle.

I've not seen a lot of Triangle players, but almost all Carom players I play with have the Elkmaster. And they do play rather well

I have had a few Predator shafts and usually replaced the Everest tip. Triangle should be good. For me, the Everest tips seem to miscue more than others. Once again that is just me,

you got it , well i play 35+ years and i can use anything to achieve my purpose but the feedback of that tip from a 99% possitive after ,lets say,a 5 month period doesnot exist,i think maybe its on every layer tip -altough i can not try everything-
before the z2 i play with 3 cues but always without a layered tip (elk anf then lepro)

well i ll try the triangle just because i will have a feedback and less miscues after 5-6 months(i cant install a tip twice in a year but i play 25h /week so ...

I love the Everest tips. I have a Z2 with an Everest and it hit's just fine...
you know, as LDs go. Never ever noticed any misscues with the Everest.
Not any more than anyone else. That would defy physics.
My favorites are
1. Wizard medium brown.
2. Everest.
3. Kamui Hard.
