Question - national billiards news magazine

I've recently acquired a significant collection of mint copies of The National Billiards News Magazine. The years range from 1983 through 1991. The covers showcase players like Balukas, Varner, Strickland, Efren, Lassiter, and many more, including issues covering induction into The BCA Hall of Fame.

I'm going to start posting a few on eBay, but I was trying to see if anyone can tell me the history of this publication and if it's still in print.

It was started by Earl Newby, maybe some time in the 1960s. It was later taken over by others and Conrad Burkman was the last publisher. It ended publication about 3 years ago. When it started, it was the only monthly about pool.
