"Nasty Wood Boogers" is definitely a Blud quote. I still use motor oil on the lathe, but I do use trans fluid on my CNC mill.
 
I have delt with Chris in the past buying lathe parts for his machine and for mine I have adapted as well as other acessories. I have always found his customer service A+ He is very helpfull on the phone and has answered many questions that I had when I fist started and helped me out a great deal. I personally think Chris with his cue building/ repair lathes and his book on cue building has been responsible for a great deal of the people that take up the trade. Weather it's repair or cue building Chris has made it easier for all of us to do quality work faster with out the extended learing curve that use to be the standard in the cue building world. Chris has also made it easier for the established cuemakers to find acessories for their equipment which in my opinion leaves more time for them to concentrate on making cues rather then making custom tooling.
