Question on playing the ghost

Do you lose the game if you scratch or foul after you break?
I guess it depends on what you and the person you're gambling with agree on. If I'm practicing at home against the ghost, I'll keep shooting.

Phjunky, playing the ghost is where you break, take ball in hand and try to run out. If you miss, you lose.

The way ive always played it is, a scratch on the break doenst count. If you foul or scratch after you take ball in hand its a loss. But I agree with Hal, depends on what you and the person your gambling with decide on.

If it comes up after you've started gambling then I would flip a coin. Heads it's a foul. Tails it's not a foul. Then play that way the remainder of the set.

I've never watch somebody gamble playing the ghost, what do people normally agree on? (foul on the break)
