I'm lookig at a Mezz Power Break cue with the silicone wrap. My quesion is under normal conditions does the tacky silicone wrap stick to the cloth inserts in your pool case causing problems getting the cue in and out. Thanks.

I have the Mezz Break with the silicone wrap and it doesn't bother me pulling it out or putting it back in. I have an Instroke case, never had a problem pulling it out or trying to put it back in. Might be different depending on the case and if the insert tubes are tighter or not.

i have the mezz powerbreak pro with the silicon wrap. No problems getting in and out of my Jb rugged case 3x5. But I usually dont fill it up with 3 butts and 5 shafts so not sure if it would be too tight when filled to capacity.

I also have a JB mason case 2x4. I upgraded mine to accomodate 60 inch cues and with the hard shell. On this case I have to use the additional sleeve JB provided because without the sleeve, the silicon grips against the interior causing the whole interior to pull out.

No problems with my Justis case as the interior is not as tight as the JB interior

Hope this helps

My PB1 did tear the my Instroke interior...

I am not sure about Powerbreak Pro, but I did own a Powerbreak One (PB1), and I made a mistake put it into my instroke case (I was not cautious enough because my everyday case was a Whitten 3x6, and PB1 went in and out without a problem), then it wouldn't come out.... :frown:

In the end I had to use brutal force to pull PB1 butt out of my instroke case, in the process the interior cloth was torn... felt very awful about it....

Next day I had the PB1 changed to leather wrap.

Ok thanks for the replies. I have an Instroke 2x4 case and will be going to the Expo so I will stop a the Mezz booth and try it out and see for myself.

For what its worth, my friend has a power break pro wrapless and when using his break cue, im kinda kicking myself for getting the one with the silicon wrap to start with. I mean it doesnt really do anything for me that the wrapless one doesnt. But thats just me :)
