Well, to be honest, when I read of his death the first thing that went through my mind was his cue orders and past experience in this area made me think about that.
As I stated in my above post, the owner of the guitar shop here passed away 5 years ago. That guy was like a brother to me. So much so that I was actually requested, by his wife, to carry his guitar at the funeral. Anyway, after he died and we got the shop going again it came to light that there were numerous guitars out for repair, orders had been made and, the one bad thing I can say about my deceased friend, he did not keep records, it was all filed in his head. I had no idea which vendors he was using for which repair etc.... I was able to get some of the stuff back but to this day, 5 years later, I still see people that ask me about their guitars. Lots of money was lost on both sides of the coin.
God rest Mike's soul. I sure hope he was a good record keeper or this could get real messy real quick. His wife doesn't need worrying about customers burdens after something like this.
