Questions about a Legacy 9 ft table

I am going to pick up this table soon. I have not seen it,,but told it is about 2 years old,,and has the claw feet.
I need to tear it apart and was wondering if anyone knows what I will need to do this. (what tools)

And if very familiar with it,,,how does it come apart??

I'm not worried about felt as I am re-felting it.

Will it fit into a full size pick-up?? For hauling?? It's 4 hours away.

If you want my opinion, if you haven't already bought the table, pass on it and find something else. I installed 2-5 Legacy tables a day for a year and they are one of the worst tables you can buy. The construction and materials used are of poor quality and in my opinion Legacy makes one of the worst tables on the market. Not trying to burst your bubble just trying to warn you. If you are dead set on buying the table then read below on how to disassemble and transport the table.

Legacy tables come apart like any other table. You will need a socket set and a drill with a phillips head bit, also a thin flat head screw driver to pop the staples out. You will have 3 rail bolts under each rail that will need to be removed, then the staples or screws holding the pocket flaps on will need to be removed from underneath (be careful as Legacy uses a really cheap non leather pocket on some tables that will rip very easily) and the rails will lift off 3 rails at a time, end rail and 2 side rails. There will be 2 bolts/ screws attaching each pocket to the rails, remove those. Then remove the felt and there will be 4 screws holding each slate down. Remove those and you can lift each piece of slate off. Once the slate is off you can remove the legs. If you're moving it in a pickup, stack the slate on top of each other with nothing in between them, then close the tailgate and slide the frame in the bed resting on the tailgate down at an angle toward the cab. Butt it all the way up with the front of the bed and strap it down.

Thanks for the input. I did a search before I posted this,,so I knew that ,,from what I found, that these are not the best tables.

But I am getting this for free. And it is in perfect shape. 1 owner and he bought it new,,not long ago.

I have seen some other tables,,possibly like you say this is. Not well built and a PITA to put together. But once together they play well. Or at least I am hoping.
I'm told it is a beautiful looking and playing table.

Well I have this all together now. And re-topped with 860 Simonis. It plays great!!!!

The pockets are well made leather,,so maybe ,,Legacy has upgraded from the past. IDK??? Seems like a nice table to me. Sure looks good and plays nice.
The guy who put it all together said the frame is really not strong enough for the slate. But not too bad,,just should have been a touch sturdier. And also they use inserts in the rails,,if ever over tightened and they come loose. I'm screwed!!! LOL. But as long as they hold its fine.

All n all I think it is a nice table. I'm very happy with it.
