Questions about Predator Cues

Thanks to all that replied. I plan on taking more pictures SOON. I will also plan on a review on performance.

The Quiet Roller 2 is pimp. The white P3 is also pretty cool aswell. I just wanna see how these shafts perform hopefully by the end of tomorrow night.

I have been playing with a Z-2 shaft for about 6 months now on a custom viking and it is a bad mother. I upgraded from the 314 and there isn't a ton of difference other than a little less touch, but less deflection. I could be wrong about this just my opinion. I wouldn't go out and buy a predator cue, just get a shaft and throw it on a stick you already have.

I play with a McDermott M33d/Predator 314(2) combo. I've tried several other cues, and let me tell you.... I abso-f'ing-lutely love this cue. Nothing even comes close, And I never stop getting offers from people whom I've let shoot with it. Ultimately, I personally think it's 80% player, 20% cue. It's like running a marathon. Would you rather do it in boots, or running sneakers? And what kind of running sneakers? Ultimately, it's up to you to decide what feels best in your hands.

I've played with Predator cues since 1998 and see no reason to switch to any other shaft after getting familiar with low squirt. I started with a friend's 1996 full splice sneaky pete with the original 314 shaft without the cat logo. I loved it SOOO much I bought it in 1998. That cue had the 5/16-14 SS pin and hits a ton. I play today with a very fancy Jerry Rauenzahn cue butt that I matched a Predator 314 first edition shaft partial with matching ivory ringwork. All I can say is WOW!!!

Also, I have extra shafts available for the right price. The older 314's without the cat logo are much harder to find. Any of the cues I have more than one are available, but I won't give them away.

Here are a few of my Predator cues.

Enjoy.

Lots of problems with the chinese production Predator shafts

I know its too late but many of my friends were predator maniacs and bought many of there products especially the shafts, many of the complained that the new chinese made shafts split especially near the ferrul, I guess they are not glued well enough and be carfull of those copy knock offs too.

I my self prefer the OB shafts on my schon and mcdermott cues.
