Questions about the Break RAK

I have a couple questions about the Break RAK. First off, I have read many, many reviews about the unit and it appears that it's a well engineered product. My question is this. Because the product is replicates a 9-ball rack, will you have a problem or a need to adjust your break when actually breaking 15 balls (when playing 8-ball)?? Obviously there is more mass with 15 balls vs 9 balls. The same would hold true if your were breaking in 3-ball.

And the second question. Has anyone tried the newer version of the Break RAK, the one with 3 balls vs 5 balls attatched to the unit? Was there any differences?

Thanks,
Mattman

Hello Mattman.. The new version of the BreakRAK is the very best of all. It works just like the others, because of the unit's weight & the shock absorber.

About the weight of the BreakRAK vs Cue Ball response. Depending on how pure the lead ball is struck, the rebound is about 15-18 inches.

A Cue Ball will rebound from a rack of balls (3-ball, 6-ball, 7-ball & 8-ball) the same 15-18 inches, with a small amount of follow (quarter to half tip) that functions as brakes. The reason is this. The Cue Ball has hit a mass, that weighs more than it does.

Look at the Stop Shot, energy is transferred to the object ball & the cue ball stops in it's tracks. They both weigh the same. The Cue Ball continue to stop, no matter if it hits 1 ball or a 15 balls, up to a certain speed. Once the Cue Ball is moving fast enough to cause the shape to deform, at impact, it will start to rebound back.

Think of it like this. If you drop the cue ball on a concrete floor, the floor doesn't throw the cue ball back, it rebounds back. Rebound is the spring back action caused by the cue ball springing back to it's original shape, from the deformed shape at impact. This is a simplistic paragraph about the action/reaction.

The BreakRAK is designed to give you true REAL-TIME response of the cue ball. The BreakRAK is designed so you can continually practice your Break Shot stroke, without time lost in racking balls. Repetition is Practice. You won't be disappointed.

Thanks Bignasty, for your comments about the BreakRAK. A lot of players are still skeptical, but that is their loss. Even a top notch Pro can use this tool, to stay in the groove with their Break Shot.

The Break Shot in Pool is like the Drive in Golf, lots of muscle groups are used. It takes practice to stay in form. We've all heard that matches are won or lost, because of the Break Shot. If I could use PRO's names, that have my product, business would be more than I could handle, but since none are being PAID to endoese my product, I cannot name names.

Thank you again, I know you folks know about my BreakRAK & I thank you for your kind words.

One of the Best Investments that I have ever made! Charley is a great guy to do business with. The Breakrak helps you maintain aim and cue ball control with a little practice each day.
