Questions about the designs of Cuetec Cynergy Nineball Series

cuetec walnut truwood2 w 11.8 cynergy
predator black p3 wrapless 12.4 revo
sniper tip on both
You like the cuetec better? How do you feel, what are differences? I know all feeling is subjective but if 9/10 people said the same, now it’s not really subjective anymore.

Thank you.

Can you name a few and what diameter they got so I can be more inspired please 💪
Just local good players. I'm not a cynergy guy...but I've hit with it and I liked it well enough. If you're struggling I would advise to go for the thicker shaft (and not anything that starts with 11). If they have 12.9 get that.

With a generally easy 9 ball layout, a good player can run out staying on the center axis of the cue ball and just using speed to create the correct angles. I know when I was a younger player I didn't use much english at all (never reverse and sometimes outside) and I could break and run occassionally. Get efficient at playing on the center axis of your cue ball so you understand how to make the shots and ensuring your body/stance are really properly in line. If you're not in line then you will struggle to make balls even on center. A good lesson might come in handy. Do this before you start going too crazy with english. English is important, but you can run out plenty of layouts without going crazy with it.

The cynergy should help you get through the cue ball better if you're struggling with accurate cue ball hits. The lower deflection will help you if you're accidentally putting unwanted english on it (if you're not too far off). If you go skinnier, as a weaker player, you'll love that you can draw the cue ball and spin the crap out of it easier but you'll have zero control. It's only going to be harder for you to get a pure hit. Again, focus on creating angles with speed and staying on center (high top, mid top, middle, middle low, low, super low).

Again, just my .02.

as a cuetec fanboy, its fugly, the worst yet
the low key looks of other models are nicer imo

still plays way better than a predator tho lol
If you like playing with something that feels like cheap hollow trash in your hands lol seriously hit is personal so it doesn’t hit BETTER then anything . It just has a different hit you prefer.
I always say the only question sillier then what is the best hitting cue are the people that actually give an answer. There is none.. what you like has nothing to do with what I like lol

Yes after getting this predator recently it does feel hit and sound like cheap trash
Plays good but yuck

The cuetec hit is solid and gets far more action
Doesn’t have a hallow sound or feel
And therefore as previously said
Much better than revo

That’s your opinion .. I feel the exact opposite lol the cuetec feels like a cue you pick up at Walmart to me. neither of us is wrong. Lol different strokes for different folks and all that jazz

Just how does a Walmart cue feel?? The mere hint that you may know this is somewhat disturbing. ;)

HIT is overrated. How "effective" are you with the shaft you are using. What cue, or shaft, or tip (or combination thereof) do you perform the best with? That is the question. I wish Wal-Mart made a cue I could run out with.

The 'hit' is huge in selecting a cue. I've never owned a cue that didn't feel/sound right. If that's not right i'm not exploring any more about it. I can tell within 10-20 shots if i'm gonna keep/like a cue. IMO the hit is part of a cues performance. I have no clue what a good playing but shitty feeling cue would even be.

I stand by my statement that ones perception of HIT is overrated and not always commensurate with how you will PLAY with a cue. I've had cues that I thought "felt" great, but I couldn't play great with them. And I've had others that didn't "feel" as good (but obviously they didn't feel bad) and I ran out with them like water. Again, I have one now that is an affordable plain jane that, whether I want to or not, I play my best game with.

if you're gonna have a decal cue it may as well be budweiser or partypoker
Years ago when Bill Stroud was here in Tulsa there was a local player that had a Budweiser JossWest. The only giveaway was the steel joint, other than that it looked like a cheapass cue.

Do all Predator cues use decals or stickers for their designs too?

Which mass-produced cues actually have real inlays or point work that are not $10,000?

Not all. The high end predators are not decals . The blak series aren’t decals and they aren’t 10k . It’s one of the few predator cues I like. Most are to gaudy to me. I tend to stick to the p3 or sp or road line series. The sp and roadlines are decals at that price point so it doesn’t matter to me.

decal sneakys? that would be very strange

Back in the early 90's a guy that played in my area with a patch on his eye and a Budweiser cue that had stickers all over it and he used rubber bands for a cue case.
That one eyed dude won his share especially from the people that didn't know him. He was a prime example of never judge a book by its cover.
