Quick older Meucci question

I need to know if all Meuccis from the 80s and early 90s had the same length ferrule. I'm also wondering if they were capped style ferrules? Can anyone get the original ferrules? Thanks for your time. G

Could a person expect some variances in length or should they be pretty much exact? I have another shaft and the ferrule is about an 1/8th short. Could be from over aggressive tip work I suppose. I appreciate you taking a minute to help. Thank you again.
