Quick Release Tap Size

I bought a quick release joint from Atlas several months ago. I've never installed one before. It's not a uniloc. I'm at work or I'd post a pic. It has a ball on the end of the pin. Anyway, what tap do I need for the insert? It seems to be larger than a 7/16-14. The pin is the same thread as a weight bolt, 3/8-16 or what ever. Hope this is enough info, if not I'll do some measuring when I get home.

I don't think atlas has that pin. Schmelke sells them. The tap is a m-12 sold at Schmelke.

You know, I think you are right. I thought I got it at Atlas but now that you mention it, I think I got it one time when I ordered some blanks. That'll work, thanks.
