I like the look of your cue with the linen and I would have done the same thing. Leather wraps just don't do it for me on some cues. I bought a cue with a brown lizard wrap on it a while back and the color just didn't go with the cue. I knew how much lizard wraps cost, but the color just ruined the overall look of the cue and, against a good friends advice, I removed the brown lizard wrap and replaced it with white with brown speck linen and the cue looked like a different cue. The linen brought out the rest of the cue and especially the veneers. The white base color gave the forearm and butt sleeve a nice contrast like your -R- cue.........
