You've been a great friend for over 30 years and done as much for Billiards as anyone I've ever known. You have always been a generous person and should be honored at the highest level in our sport by entering the Hall Of Fame Class of 2023.

I only spoke with Mark over the phone one time a number of years ago when I had some questions about possibly hosting a US Open qualifier in our room. As busy as I’m sure he was, he spoke with me as if I’d known him for years. He was in absolutely no hurry to answer all my questions and encouraged me to call him back anytime.

From everything I’ve heard about Mark and all the tributes that have already poured in here in less than 24 hours, my hunch is Mark touched and enhanced countless lives of those who shared his passion for pool and for that matter everyone that he came in contact with with respect, concern and kindness. RIP Mark Griffin
