The cue has been delivered and my customer agreed that it's OK to post the pics on AZ.

"Vimpy's Balabushka"
A few months ago the request was posted on AZ ,does anyone remember a particular Balabushka that Luther may have played with and if so please Post pics.
Several AZrs sent pics but could not identify a special Bushka cue that Wimpy may have played with. The reason for this after getting a lot of feedback concerning Luther's favorite cues is that Luther and George where great friends and that Luther almost always had at least two cues on order and would sell George's cues on the road , probably the reason for this was to help keep George in business; and also to help offset Luther's road expenses .
Jerry -R- got a request from a good friend of luther's, " James Pond" to make a cue similar to one of the Bushka's that Luther may have played with. Early on Jim asked to have his name and the word "Vimpy" put some where on the cue. The reason for the word Vimpy was With George's Russian accent the word Wimpy came out as Vimpy, not very many people know that .Thanks to AZ's 'Wildwing" for helping with the design of this cue.
James Pond wanted the word "Wimpy" on this cue so he would never forget his friend.
