Any pocket billiards player should definitely what this, not for the money, but the game is really at the highest level by any means, I think in snooker you have more rooms to see the difference between players and the gap that seperate them from us.
This may bring another debate but see it for yourself, pool is a joke comparing to snooker AT THAT LEVEL ( I'm not talking about the game of snooker in general ). The bests in snooker is really out of this world.

The live stream link I posted earlier isn't working for me.

But this site is working now:
http://www.sportcategory.com/c-11.html

Just click on the "World Snooker Sheffield" links to find the best stream for your area.

PS I still recommend Firefox with the Ad Block Plus plugin installed.

So to your knowledge, will there be any cable channels carrying the finals in the states ? Is livestream the only way to view here ?

As far as I know, the only TV channels that will show the final match will be BBC Two and British Eurosport, and Eurosport International, none of which are available in most typical cable packages in the US.

The links above are just online versions of those channels.

Also, as mentioned before, the folks in the chat room are very friendly and willing to answer rules or terminology questions, etc, in case anyone is not familiar with snooker.

Finals: Mark Selby vs Ronnie O'Sullivan

Finals will start at 9AM Eastern Time on Sunday. Session 2 will start at 2 PM. Sessions 3 and 4 (if needed) will air on Monday at 9 AM and 2 PM Eastern.

Thanks Blake that's what I was guessing. Our local soccer pub tried to get it last year on short notice with no luck.
