Race to 8 and Great Job Accu-Stats!

Am I the only one who feels that a race to 8 is just too short of a contest for a major event? Even with alternate breaks, a few bad rolls after the break and you're out of it. Personally I think even a race to 11 is a short race for a major event! I hope Barry decides to lengthen the race some next year.

I do have to say that the new face of Accu-Stats is amazing! The new equipment does a beautiful job and of course the cast & crew of Accu-Stats is second to none! I really like the "instant replay" feature they now have available. Kudos to Pat Fleming and all the Accu-Stats folks!

I commented on another thread about the races. I would really like to see a major tournament with a format similar to the fatboy challenge at the derby. It would have to be single elimination, and I would think a race to 21. The matches would take a while, but I really enjoy the back and forth of a long match. It can ebb and flow, and eventually, the best player will nearly always win (especially in 10 ball).

I would love to watch something similar to this format.

I agree the races are short.

fyi, they are playing win by 2 !

10 game max though.

Means 9-9 would be hill hill.

It will be a bit different in the final because of the extened race.

Maybe 12-12 hill hill !
