Here's the details from Professor QBall
This is an open tournament. We really want the pool player to give this game a try.

The location will be the room adjacent to the Pro Arena. For those that went last year this is the room where the trick shot event was held. The Pro Arena is where the 2013 3-Cushion Nationals were held.

Can we sign up now or is it on the spot first come first play

EDIT: Looks like I double posted the announcement. We should use this thread to keep it straight.

Mapleman

We never discussed mail in entries. I'll talk to Yura and see if he wants to receive them and let you know. So for now it is first come first serve.

I can't remember who asked about a dress code. This is not a USBA event. Again we didn't discuss it but I think not.

There are 3 separate of these tournaments. Thursday and Fridays tournament starts after Professor QBalls National Qualifier session is completed. Saturday's tournament will start after an Artistic Exhibition by Miguel Torres and why the start time is later.

OK here's an update on sign ups.

We don't have a good way to collect the entry fee but Yura will take reservations.

Send and email with a Subject Line of "SBE Race to 5" and in the Body of the message just let him know which evening or evenings you want to play and you'll be put on the list if there's a spot available for your chosen date. Email to: yesyura@gmail.com

The first tournament is under our belt. 24 entrants and hours of fun.
One young lad had several guys sweating bullets. Hope he games back tonight.

Stop by and watch the fun. Better yet, get into the action.
If you have other events let us know your timing. It's very likely we can adjust and still get you in.

By the way there were no run outs. Quite the contrary. I'd guess the tournament average was around. 090 or less.
