Rack-A-Shot

I was gonna apologize for not posting this sooner, but what the hey, gets it back on page one. I am finally startiing not only making Shot 11, but REPEATING making the shot 4 times in a row. The difference in how you describe the sight lines in the post above, from the book, made the shot happen. Aligning the edge of the four balls with the inside corner of the corner pocket, the corner bordering the long rail, instead of aligning the center of the balls with the center of the pocket, made it work. Worth looking at before you reprint the manuals. Now to getting it on video. :D
Tried today for 2 hours with the camera running, and never made the d**n shot once. I forgot to look at this note before I left for the pool room also, and never got the alignment right. I was again only making 3 balls.

I hope you will be able to do it.

My wife and I are going to work at the Roo Ranch (kangaroo) in SD this winter. The owner has a pool table in his home. He is going to work with me.

I can't wait to see your shot...

I wish others would do the same?thank you from my heart.

Sux that people ask for something and offer to do a favor and then when they get it they flake out on their promised obligation. Seems to be a common thing, i was worried about this when I saw the offer. Sadly Im not suprised.

I got my video made finally. Sorry it took so long. I will put it up on youtube this week and post the link in here as well as send it to you through PM. I have to do it from my gf's house because youtube is blocked here at work.

It is sad.....just another reason why the game (sport) we love is at the bottom of the food chain...

Thanks!

Thank you for your participation. I'm looking forward to seeing your shot.

I want all of you to know how much I am thankful for what you are doing.

I really believe Rack-A-Shot will be good for the billiards community.

At this time in my life, I am not here for the money that I might make. I want to pay back what the pool community has given me. My share of any profits will be given away?maybe to the schools who have billiards as a curriculum. I really think Rack-A-Shot can put some oomph into the game. Rack-A-Shot brings people together in practice.

Also, everyone should know that Margie is the worker of import here at Rack-A-Shot. She has made all of this possible.

I really am grateful for all of you who are participating. I believe that pool can play a big part in bringing not only ours but different cultures together. Pool is a very personal venture that can be shared.

In pool, English can be expressed in many languages.

We will correct any kind of error in the book.

I do not want to take you away from these great forums, however, if you have any insight that will make Rack-A-Shot better, please visit our forums. Maybe someday, when we find success, forums like AzBilliards will allow a Rack-A-Shot section.

Blessings

Would you be willing to try Rack-A-Shot??no cost to you?just a video of a shot and some discussion?

Thanks

We would like to get a couple of pool halls to have some Rack-A-Shot competitions. We will supply each hall with several Rack-A-Shot systems for free to get the ball rolling. We would however, like to see some videos of the practice and the fun your clientele is having.

This would be a blessing.

I would like everyone to know that I would put up some videos of myself with the Rack-A-Shot system, but, I do not have a pool table and I cannot afford to go to a pool hall. That is why I have not done this so far.

I directed homeless shelters for thirty years and have no retirement. My social security is very small because I received no pay for many of those years. My wife and I have, when we are able to work, just enough money to not go on welfare. I am not crying in my beer, I am trying to explain why I am so grateful for Margie who does most of the work regarding Rack-A-Shot and Jim who gave us enough money to produce a few systems to get started and most of all you guys for giving us your time and effort.

We need honest input—that is why we are approaching this the way we are. We are not here to take advantage. We believe you can help us to present Rack-A-Shot to the billiards community in the proper fashion. We need your advice, consent, and your expertise.

Thanks again,

Keith
