5 based on what? APA league? I do not play in APA league, but if I did; I'd likely be a 2....:p Kidding aside, I doubt I'd even be considered a C player, but I don't know how you rate players. If there is anyone in the Peoria area that has played in your tourneys that is eligible for this one, let me know. I'd bet they could spot me no problem.

don't think I know Sam. I played in a tourney there a couple of months back...won my first 2 and lost my next 2 (not that that would tell you anything). I just know that with the likes of Quinn, Branson, Freeman, etc. Getting 4 matches in was probably about the best I could expect.
 
maybe KJ will read this...he'll tell you what I'm good for at tourneys (bringing food). LOL Plus he could tell you how many games he'd hafta spot me in a race to 7....4 or 5 would probably do ;)

Thanks, still have to check with the boss, but I'll try. I know trying to decide who can and can't play in non-open or B tourneys is tough, but I wouldn't ever be dishonest about how I play. I only play in 1 league (ACS) once a week, and other than that, play 1P....

btw, my name is Robb Bauer (in case trustyrusty is all you knew). Hope to see ya next weekend.

1st win was a younger kid from the StL area (I think he came with a couple of folks)....won hill/hill when he missed an easy 8 (he should have finished me a few racks before that). The 2nd was a local that went by nickname, like Super Dave or something like that.

next two matches I got shellacked. lol Oh, and in that tourney it seemed MOST of the field had BYES in the first round (like the 2nd fellow I played)...I was lucky not to, since it afforded me an extra match or two :cool:

Are you going to play? You are a champion 5? I am a missouri 8 ball 5, a 5 in alton 9 ball tourney that runs to 13,and a 3 in 8 ball that runs to 7 does that qualify me? We should also get IBA to play. We played a couple tournys today and got him a little action

sounds like you qualify to me. I played in an 8ball league last year that McGrath and Judex are 8s, Neckle, Rush, Shultz etc. are 7s, and I am a 4 (lowest possible ranking being a 3). Shooters league with loser breaks at that....

its real hard to run these style of tournaments thats why i have in the past only listed them localy ............but the way i looked at it they can only get me 1 time ..........but i know a lot of players who know a lot of players .............its a pretty cheap tournament that always pays around 1000.00 to the first place with cal cuttas and tournament pay-out and the player only has about 50-60 invested ........and you dont have to play champions ..........pretty sweet

In what league?
I am a 3 at Riverbend in both games.
Just was moved from a 3 to a 4 in Missouri 8 ball.

My mom is coming in town from Florida on Saturday so, I will be hangin around town. Plus I think the Aints are coming in to POUND the Lambs. On Sunday at Noon.:(
