Rack Pack this a great movie I really enjoyed it, it's about snooker in the 70's 80's 90's I don't have a link but if anybody gets a chance to watch enjoy. It's about champions like Steve Davis Alex Higgins Jimmy White Cliff Thorburn and so on it really brings me back in time I loved the movie.
 
I watched it last month and it's excellent!

Absolutely recommended to any fan from any cue sport background.
 
How did you guys watch it? the only link I can find says it is for UK viewers only.
 
WOW... that takes me back to my Snooker days... I can't wait, I'll be buying one of them DVDs
 
Awesome movie, compelling story, great writing, great snooker. Welcome addition to the genre of pool/billiard sport movies. I've seen it three times, will watch it again soon.
 
I watched it on the android box i'm 64 took me back in time in the snooker days and smokey pool halls of cigarettes and also the good stuff great music wow loved it.

Do you remember what add on carried it? I have android as well.
 
I think I went on 1 channel went to search typed the movie in and that was it hope it works for you.
 
I thought that Alex Higgin's character was portrayed as a bit whiny... I know it's a movie, so some things are a bit exaggerated, but I feel as though they were trying too hard to re-create the Niki Lauda/James Hunt type of rivalry story done in the film 'Rush' a few years back.

That's the critical side of me. But I suppose it was a decent film, and better than 90% of films done in the same category about cuesports.

It worked that was a great movie, Its hard to believe someone so volatile as Higgins could do well in snooker. I only remember seeing him in the last years and Davis was giving way to Hendry at that time. Thanks again for the info.

ALEX HIGGINS V CLIFF THORBURN
These two enjoyed a love-hate relationship in that each loved to hate the other. ‘You’re a Canadian c*** and you can’t f***ing play, either,’ was one cheery Higgins greeting when they found themselves in the same bar. At this, Thorburn, hard as nails on and off the table, floored the Belfast man with a well aimed punch.

Thorburn recalled that this fight was broken up by others and a reconciliation attempted. ‘Eventually, as we went to shake hands, I kicked him right in the nuts,’ he said.

After losing to Thorburn in the 1986 Scottish Masters final, the clean-living Higgins alleged the Canadian had been helped by ‘little bags of white powder’ (although Thorburn was fined and suspended for cocaine use in 1988).
