I thought the IPT was using the same model I am referring to, the new 5000? KT even referred specifically to this new cheaper version in his online audio presentation. Or do you mean IPT members will be getting sent them at a discount rate?

Yes, it is the same model, but anything that is IPT's brand qualifies for profit-sharing, so in a way, I am getting a discount and helping the other 149 players at the same time.
