I like rack your own. Agree to not pattern rack or wire balls.
In 9 ball, when racked correct, wing is wired anyway.
Every other game just requires a tight rack if not pattern racked.
I believe my opponents intentions are mostly good. However, I am always going to a better job of racking for myself consistently. Means more to me than them.
Only people that seem to complain about it are at extreme ends of the spectrum in my experience.
