Raffling A Custom Cue!

Well i tried to sell my cue but i have only had offers of $500,one guy wanted to do escrow but i didnt trust that deal.So i am going to sell tickets to raffle it off, it will all be legit,all the guys who buy a ticket will be listed as i recieve there money,when all tickets are sold i will put the tickets in a bag and pull one out and then the winner will get the cue.I dont know any of you guys so i wont play favorites,whoever wins gets the cue,i will sell tickets at $20 a piece or 3 for $50.I will sell only 35 tickets so get yours while you can,if you would like my # so you can reach me to verify then PM me for that and my address to send a money order to.This is a good chance to get a nice playing cue that is worth something for cheap so dont let it pass you by,if you have any suggestions or questions or just think this is a stupid idea then post it,i would appreciate it so i dont waste my time or yours,thanks.

Here is the cue i am raffling.
Its a Phillippi multi veneered 4 pointer with ebony inlay designs between the point that is unique with 4 multi veneered windows in the butt,black pebble leather wrap, 3/8 10 pin,it comes with one shaft and a moori medium tip that was just recently put on,the weight is just under 19 but have a weight bolt to make it heavier.The wrap is a Tiger wrap that was put on at the expo in Valley Forge,Rick said to do another one of these cues it would be atleast $1300.The cue is in 95% condition and plays really great,nice solid hit.Here are some pics they are a little fuzzy,sorry.Joint protectors are included with the cue,thanks for looking.

Just reply on here or PM me and tell me how many tickets you want,for $20 you have a 1 in 35 chance and for $50 you have a better then 1 out of 12.When i see that all 35 will be sold i will ask the people who want the tickets to send there money in so the raffle definately goes off,thanks.

Sorry guys i cant get enough people to buy tickets so the raffle is off and im taking the cue off the market too,cant sell it,maybe in a few years when the economy is better,lol.Right now its a buyers market and not a sellers for cues anyway.

I did too,maybe another time when the market is better i will try this out again if not with this cue but another,it ususally works both ways,i sell the cue for what i want and someone gets a nice cue for cheap.

there was a bad experience for many on this site regarding a similar auction. people sent the money and when the auction winner was announced nobody had ever heard of the winner. some of the ones who bought tickets wanted to know the winners name and info so they could contact him to make sure the raffle was legit. that info was never produced leading everyone to believe it was a scam. that could be the reason not many bit on the tickets. you should be very careful when doing such auctions on an open forum site like this. not only is it hard to get people you don't know to enter but i believe also illegal in all states to hold raffles for personal profit.
