what's that?
The biography of Buddy Hall by W.W. Woody. It's a lot of dense print.

Prices on eBay have ranged from $43 to $325. $60-$80 is about right. List was $30 when it was in print.

It seems that if you can buy one for $80 or less that you should be able to buy it, read it and then turn around and sell it with no problem as long as you don't hurt the book and get your money back - maybe even make a few dollars. I might try this.

The book is part fiction! I know this to be true. There is some interesting stuff in there but you have a whole bunch of boring crap to sift thru to find it.

You have to sift through all of W.W. Woody's craziness. He seemed to have some weird obsession with Buddy. He wrote as if the two of them were destined to be "life" partners or something of that nature. Very strange! Anyone know what ended up happening between the two of them? Did Buddy keep his religion, or did he realize Woody was nuts. There needs to be a part two!

Maybe they should change the title then to "Rags to Riches"

Why does this book sell for so much? Only people going to read it are pool players and they sure as hell are not going to fork over 300 dollars for some book. It must be a collectors item to rare book collectors
