RAID cues?

Yes, those are the cues. The site is out of date though and doesn't have any worthwhile info about the construction, especially of the R650 shafts. My seat of the pants deflection meter showed less than a 314.

Try a Cue Schmek R360. If its good enuff for Shane, it should be ok for the rest of us.

A local room owner purchased a few at a recent BCA trade show. Maybe it's just the site. Anyway, there's no info that I can find on the internet. Otherwise, I thought the cue played very accurate, I want one, and I;m curious about the construction of the LD R650 shaft.
I actually purchased an LD-650 the other day at DL Billiards in Providence, RI (very reputable dealer). I am a low level player and did not want to invest a fortune in a stick. The owner highly recommended this as a great stick for the value.
He has used it himself in tourneys and said it hits as well as his 2k+ McDermott. I'm sure that is a slight exageration, but I'm very happy with the stick so far. First day out of the bag, I won 2 matches at the state qualifier. Everyone that has checked it out so far also likes the feel and balance.

Raid Cues are made by Falcon so it is pretty reputable.
i would like to try one someday and check how "low deflection" it really is.

I purchased the LD-650 from Manning Cues a few months ago for about $160. I Love it ! It is the most consistent hitting cue I have ever played with. I haven't picked up my other cues since trying The Raid cue. I am a consistent A level player who played with nothing but Lucasi and Joss cues for over 20 yrs. I also purchased a 5280 Jump Break ( installed White Diamond Tip ) and I Break more consistent. I Love the Game and Jump at the Opportunity for Greatness.
